Everyone at Mill Pond Church has the chance to connect with someone as a spiritual mentor. Mentors help us grow, taking the next step in our spiritual journey.
Men’s Ministry – Meets every Tuesday evening and every Saturday morning to encourage each other, spend time in God’s Word, and more.
Women’s Group – Meets every Tuesday evening at Pastor Dennis and Gail Peloquin’s home. The Women pray together, study scripture and helpful devotionals together, and serve together in numerous ways. Women of all ages are welcome to come and be encouraged as part of this wonderful group
Marriage – Our pastors use Life Innovations, “Prepare-Enrich” to help couples get ready for marriage and then overcome its challenges.
Small Groups – Throughout the week, we meet in member’s homes to grow together in groups of 5-15 people. Check with our office for a listing of current groups.
Prayer Shawl – We make prayer shawls, hats, and other comfort items for those suffering with physical, emotional, and spiritual pain. The items are blessed then distributed to those in need.
The Underground – A grass-roots, faith based initiative dedicated to ending sex trafficking and sexual exploitation in Connecticut.
Celebrate Recovery – A biblical and balanced program that helps people overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. In cooperation with several other local churches, MPC offers a weekly meeting plus small group and individual sponsorships. Celebrate Recovery has an excellent national track record of helping people overcome some of life’s most challenging problems and sins.
Family Promise – Through a network of a churches, Family Promise offers homeless families a safe place to stay while they are receiving help with job placement, housing assistance applications, and more. Several times a year, MPC plays host for a week for homeless families who need a safe place to sleep, a warm meal, and some encouragement.
